the agriculturists economy in the current decade is gradually declining because of no support by the government in food processing industry. in karnataka govt is not so eager to give permission to tap neera from coconut trees. promoting neera can create lakhs of green collar jobs. the neighbor state kerala already started neera production and marketing but karnataka is lagging behind.
